Dr. David Ballance
MD
Dr. Ballance received his undergraduate degree from
Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and attended medical
school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
After completing his residency in New York State,
Dr. Ballance returned home to Idaho with his wife Liz, to
raise their family and started practicing as an MD at
Family Health Care in 1998. He has expertise in minor surgeries, orthopedics,
diabetes care, wellness of all ages, and even has experience in delivering babies
right next door at St Alphonsus in the past.
Dr. Jane Young
RN, MSN, CRNP, ND
Dr. Jane Young is the founder of Family Health Care.
Leading the way for Nurse Practitioners in Idaho and around
the country, she is proud to own an independent family practice
offering quality patient care. She has expertise in pediatrics,
womens health and family holistic care.
In 2004, she was among the 1st to attain a Nursing
Doctorate from Case Western University. She has earned recognition
as a published author and researcher, and has lectured at
Boise State University.
Dorothy Moser
FNP-C, MSN
Dorothy Mosher was born in Kellogg Idaho, and has lived in Lewiston, Wyoming, Maine, and recently moved back to Boise to be near family.
She brings two decades of experience in Family Medicine, and also has special interest in Geriatrics, Psychology, Diabetes and Women's Health. Dorothy values all ages of patients, helping them improve their health, and learn healthy habits that will improve how they feel.
Lisa Rhode
MN, FNP-C
Lisa was born in Encino, California but moved to the Boise area several years ago after falling in love with the people and outdoors of Idaho. In addition to Family Practice, she has a special interest in assisting chronic illness patients meet their optimal health goals.
Her passion lies in assisting patients to reach and maintain their optimal health to enhance their quality of life, and partnering with patients to assist them in meeting their desired health goals.
Andy Victor
DNP
Andy earned his bachelor’s degree of science in nursing from Boise State, and completed his doctorate in nursing practice at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Andy and Samantha welcomed their first child, Scout Stella, on February 20th, 2024. Andy loves to spend time with his family and their three dogs; Chip, Calvin, and Chance.
Andy fell in love with serving others while working with developmentally delayed children and adults. Working with this special population, he had the opportunity to regularly experience the feeling that one only gets when they are truly of service to their fellowmen. This “feeling”, worth more than its weight in gold, is what led Andy to pursue a career in healthcare.
Taylor Tipton
DNP, FNP-C
Taylor attained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 and spent 8 years working as RN while attaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, and gained certification as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C).
Her drive comes from a desire to empower others to live healthier, happier lives. She has a son and daughter with her husband, and they moved to Boise in the summer of 2024 from Austin, Texas where she had lived for 27 years. She enjoys hiking, gardening, baking, reading and working crossword puzzles.
